The ACK-600 AC Adapter Kit supplies power to your Canon PowerShot SD700 IS from a standard power outlet. This is a great accessory to use for studio shooting and other indoor functions, such as AV photo viewing or downloading your pictures to a computer since it saves you from having to rely on battery power.
Customer Review: a life saver when you need to download a ton of vid/pics
If you have a big SD card and typically download a ton of pictures and video (I’d say over 250 video/pics) then this little item is pretty useful. The lowdown: you simply remove your battery in the camera (I have an SD950IS) and slip the adapter battery in its place, and close the battery cover. pull out the rubber stopper on the camera’s battery cover (yeah, this is what that thing is for!) and plug in the adapter cord. It’s pretty much that easy. So besides using this for downloading a lot of content, I have also plugged it in when replaying images and videos from the camera to a TV. I have noticed that when I have a large download from the camera, that using this adapter as the power source instead of the battery power (which is what I always did) made the download noticeably faster! Just keep in mind that the adapter is exactly what it looks like in the picture, it can be a little cumbersome if you are trying to travel light. It has that typical converter block that you see and the wires are long, so they could take up some space, again, if you are looking to take it with you everywhere you go. I just keep it by the computer where I download everything. Great little product.
Customer Review: AC Adapter Kit
This is an essential if you are transferring lots of pictures from your camera to your PC or Mac. It is easy to use and relatively compact to carry. I wouldn’t want to be without it! Great product, great price!

We should be used to this. After all, we do it all the time. We do it with our households, with our computer, with almost everything. Out with the old and in with the new.

What about us? Do we forget that spring cleaning starts off best in the home? But what about us, our life - is not our life in need of a regular spring clean? We should regularly assess our life. And re-assess how we are, what we are doing, how we are doing it, and what we are achieving. But we should also not forget another side of our lives. We should also consider the effects of our achievements and accomplishments, on us and others, and the larger world.

Whatever happens in day to day life has affects beyond their immediate (and more obvious) consequences. We all send out ripples with our efforts and our actions. It is easy to forget that anything we do has repercussions. In fact everything we do can affect others and the world in which we live. Yet, happily, we don’t let this influence our every decision. For if it did what would we do? Could we live life as if in a straightjacket, unable to act? What could we do if we were unable to move, or unable to do anything?

No, this would inhibit our every action. We need a sensible middle course where we think about things before we act and respect others and the world we live in. There are also other things we should be aware of. It is helpful if we ask ourselves if we are in harmony with our surroundings or whether we live at odds with it. If at odds, rather than in harmony with life, then we should take stock and assess our lives and the things we do. And make some changes, as we think necessary.

For change will be necessary for our life and our experience of life. And only we can make them. Others can suggest changes but we are at the helm of our life, just as they are for themselves, and it is up to us to take the necessary steps or action to move us along. It is so important to be in harmony with ourselves and our surroundings. Conflict, disappointment, lack of success and worse can befall us if we are not careful. We need to remain disciplined and consider carefully the things we do. We need to be responsible. Responsible for the things we do. The deeds we perform. The thoughts we think. The words we utter. The actions we make.

We can make our spring clean as extensive as we like. The more often we make these assessments and consider and act then the easier it becomes. The more alert we are to our life stagnating and us with it. The more alert we may be to the need for change. And with the alertness and thought we can add other elements to complete the picture. If we can add a good and honest heart and a caring, responsible nature, we will be well along the path to a satisfying and productive life. We just need to be aware of the things we may want to change, to modify or to leave behind. Drastic action is not required. But concerted action over time does and will bear good results.

If we can develop our strengths at the same time as practice, and give attention to our weaknesses, we can become a more rounded individual. And more ready to meet the challenges of 21st Century life. If we can seek help where required, and take comments in good faith from reliable sources, then this outside information and assistance can be invaluable in our quest for a better us. And where will this quest stop? Why need it end? We can attend to our life and our effectiveness in life, as well as our experience in life, for as much or as little time as we see fit.

We just need to remember that many a thing depends on how our life is running. How in synch with our life we are. How firm and stable are our foundations. How great a contribution we make to life, rather than always being in ‘take-mode’. Learn from life. Learn from others. Let yourself teach yourself also, and with a good and honest heart, and with a dedicated and focused effort, why should you not experience all that there is in life to experience.

Go live your life and make a difference.
