Customer Review: Good quality
I purchased this T-mount to attach my newly purchased Canon Rebel Xsi to a Bausch and Lomb Discoverer 60mm Telescope. With the T-mount attached to my camera, and a t-adapter attached to the scope, I have a 1000-4000mm lens that works great for moon photos and animal pictures. It took me a little while to adjust the camera settings to fit the telescope, but after a couple nights of changing the settings, I got some pretty nice moon shots. This T-mount is simple, easy to use, and connects easily to the scope with an additional T-adapter. The mount seems strong and sturdy; my camera feels securely connected to the telescope.

Customer Review: Great for minimal gear
This back pack is perfect for dslrs with minimal gear. i can carry my nikon d80 with 18-200mm lens on it plus room for my flash and one other lens. If i move things around I could carry another lens. I also have the accessory kit sqeezed in there and it is a bit snug. I have used the kit a few times and it does come in handy. When carrying the back pack on my back and the front clip secured it fits very comfortably and off my back so hiking and other walking is very comfortable. there are straps that you can get for it to attach the tripod to it but i have not done this yet. The upper compartment of the back pack is ok if you want to carry something such as a lunch or towel and there is a compartment that can hold my filters and such. It all works but is a bit awkward….I guess I’m still searching for the perfect bag but I have not found it yet…. I’m out growing this one…If you plan to add equipment you may want to think about getting something bigger…. This kit comes with a tripod but the tripod they supply is not suitable for dslrs. it may work if you never get past your kit lens if it is no bigger than 55mm but I had to purchase another tripod that was able to handle the weight and that has a ball head. All in all this is a nice product and well made. I would recommend this to someone who had minimal gear…

I’ve heard so many bad things about this lens and for what your paying for it isn’t bad at all. I will admit the t-mount isn’t the best but other than that it comes out with good pictures. You have to learn the tricks on how to focus it but it didn’t take me that long at all. It’s a good lens
Customer Review: This lens is a toy
This is not a serious lens — it is a toy. Keeping that in mind, it is a decent toy and it works reasonably well for the price. It is rather difficult to focus accurately, but I’ve got the hang of it after some practice. Like all cheap lenses, it suffers from some purple fringe. This type of lens is much better than the shorter and lighter 500mm mirror lenses that cost about the same. The 2x converter is very cheap, single-element; with it, the lens becomes very difficult to focus and to keep steady enough to avoid blur. Except in the brightest of bright sunlight, you can’t shoot with this lens without a tripod. The tripod mount looks good in pictures but it’s a joke: it’s made of plastic, and it’s way too flimsy to keep the lens and camera stable. Just breathing on the camera makes it sway visibly. Mounting the camera on the tripod works much better, and the lens is not that heavy. Note that the 2x adapter works with this lens only — you can’t use it with another lens. The lens has its own threaded mount but comes with a Canon EF adapter; the 2x adapter goes between the lens proper and the EF adapter. If you want a 500mm lens and can spend a little more money, try a 75-300mm zoom (I have one from Canon, which is ok but not great; I hear that Sigma and Tamron make decent zoom lenses in that range) with a 2x multiplier (get a 7-element rather than a slightly cheaper 4-element one).
